Road trip from Portland to Yellowstone

Hi,

We are two guys renting a car for a roadtrip.
Our starting point is Portland at 07.10 and this is also where we finish our trip (on the 18.10).

We would like to visit Yellowstone and grand Tetons national parks.
We have 11 days for the trip and we would like some advices how to do it.
Which roads would you choose?
What can we see if we choose to go back through Montana?

Thanks to everyone that reaponds

I would drop down to U.S. 20 and then take all the way through Oregon and Idaho past Craters Of the Moon National Monument. After that, take Idaho state roads (Id 33 going through Dubois) to Island Park and enter Yellowstone via West Yellowstone. Or just take Id33 all the way to the Grand Tetons.
