Road trip from Houston,TX to Cleveland,OH
I am planning a solo road trip from Houston,TX to Cleveland,OH in mid-May. One location that I'd love to see is the Grand Canyon. Has anyone on here taken a similar route? I'll be very grateful if anyone would share trip routes and tips. Thank you very much!

The distance from Houston to the Grand Canyon is 1282.00 miles. From Grand Canyon to Cleveland is 1675.00 miles. Is this what you really had in mind? About a 3000mile trip? We usually drive HOuston thru Memphis or Houston to New Orleans and then north.

For a solo trip I would consider a trip on Amtrak at least 1 way. Are you returning to Houston after Cleveland?
Your Grand Canyon trip is best accomplished by flying to Las Vegas or possibly Salt Lake City if you want to see some of the southern Utah National Parks as well.
