Road Trip - Florida to Ohio via I-75
DD and my mother (82) are driving from south Florida to Ohio this weekend to bring her back for the summer. They will be going north on I-75 via Atlanta, where they will stop for the night as it seems to be about half way.
They are hoping to do this in 2 days (DD is 20, good driver) and don't want to go much off road. What is the road like along the way? Major construction to be avoided any place in particular? Suggestions for a quick hop-on, hop-off place to spend the night near Atlanta? Any good food recommendation not too far off the highway? Mom doesn't do fast food, she likes sitdown Cracker Barrel style restaurants. Any words of wisdom? FYI - DD lives in Cincinnati, which is why they are going up I-75, not I-95 & I-77. Thanks!
