Road to Hana
 

We are staying in Wailea, Maui in November. Can we travel the road to Hana from Wailea and come back to Wailea in one day--or should we plan to stay the night in Hana?

Just get an early start and you'll be back by dinner time.

We've enjoyed a daytrip to and from trip Hana from Wailea. One tip: try to find out whether the quaint little roadside restaurants are open on the day you travel. Or, better yet, take some picnic stuff along. It's gorgeous!!! There is food in Hana, but that's a long wait if things are closed and you've brought nothing along.
