Riverboat Cruise NO
 

Going to NO in May. Would love to take in a paddle/riverboat cruise. Many to choose from. Which is best?

I suggest the steamboat Natchez. I have a friend that is a tour guide & that is the one she recommends. You can also eat a good meal there. You might like the jazz cruise with lunch. It's about 2 hrs long. Check out www.steamboatnatchez.com/jazzcruise.html

We've been on the Natchez three times with different groups and enjoyed it each time. I can't say that I agree with eating on the boat, though. There are so many other good places for food in New Orleans that I would think twice about their offerings. Check out the Good Times Guide (online and hard copy available) for 2-1 discounts for cruise only trips.

I agree that the food is not above average but if you are looking for an all in one experience then it isn't bad. It's whatever fits your schedule best.
