River Cafe
 

I see that the River Cafe is up and running. We enjoyed it previously. Has anyone been there since it reopened. Is it Still good? Worth the reservation? Going in December to NYC

We went and still liked it - but it's a favorite of our - at least in part due to the view.

What's a disaster is Tavern On the Green. Still great location - but food and service are IMHO worse then ever.

I haven't been to the River Cafe since it re-opened but I have to say I think it has the most beautiful view of Manhattan at night.

we also love the view at River Cafe and I agree about Tavern on the Green. I thought it closed it got so bad...... Will give River a try in December. Thanks

ToTG was closed for several years but has reopened - with much higher prices and still really bad food - we have ried a couple times at the request of friends,
