Ritz Carlton Kapalua in June

What is the weather like at this resort during June? I have heard it is very windy and can be rainy; if you have been there during this month, is it true? What is the beach like?

We were there in July(beginning) and, yes, it is quite windy. They have these large transparent shields out at the pool to protect you from the potential wind. The hotel is amazing but the actual beach area is really disappointing...a downward slope walk to the beach and not very protected...yellow flag warnings were up the whole time we were there.

We stayed there the end of June,,and yes it did rain, in the late afternoons. <BR>Seems like the break between sunny and cloudy was right past Kaanapali. The beach is very pretty, but was rough.

Yes, but you can WALK to beautiful Kapalua Bay Beach in about 15 minutes, or even Honoloa Beach in the opposite direction!

The beach at the Ritz is not the best but the beach adjacent to the Kapalua Bay Hotel is very popular. It is walkable but there is a free shuttle that goes between these hotels about every half hour. I think Kapalua is always fairly windy.
