Ritz at $225 oceanview + breakfasts a good deal?
 

Some posting have been down on the Ritz as a value option, but if I can get the above-mentioned deal should we go? Thank you!

There are dozens of Ritz Carltons. Which one are we talking about?

Yes, if you're talking about the Ritz in Laguna. Great view overlooking a nice surfing spot. Nice gardens and amenities. My only objection to the hotel was the nearly $20 parking fee.

Sounds really good to me. I would just check and make sure they aren't renovating.

That's a nice deal for the Ritz Maui, but I'll bet they're really hurting for business (hence the deal). <BR>Downsides there are the weather, poor beach accessibility, rough water at beach, and distance from Kaanapali. <BR>If the other good hotels are more expensive than this, then $225's a good deal.
