Is Flying Horse Carousel worth checking out?

Any other must-see sights in Rhode Island?

Haven't seen the Carousel.
Newport Mansions are always popular and fun.
The culinary museum at Johnson & Wales in Providence is interesting and unique. Schedule a tour with a student guide.
There's a beautiful canal thru Providence. During the year bonfires are lit in the canal and music is play. Google Waterfire for a schedule.

The Rhode Island School of Design in Providence just completed a new museum and they are mounting a Dale Chihuly exhibit (amazing glass) - you can order tix online. If you're there, you can also walk around Brown University's campus which is very close.
