Bonita Springs - early bird specials or inexpensive restaurants?

We spend three months in Bonita and enjoy eating out, but not at any price. I'd appreciate suggestions for places that you would recommend. Our current favourite is the South Fork Grille at Coconut Point between 4 and 6, but any other ideas would be most welcome. South Fort Myers and north Naples are fine also. Thank you.

Randy's Fish Market Cafe, southbound side, US 41, North Naples

Fish House, Bonita Beach Road, on your left going toward the beach

Both very, very casual, always busy

One of the few places worth the drive for us from Olde Naples -- Iquana Mia.

Happy hour at Blue Martini at the Mercato is one of the best bargains in the area for us. Half price drinks and a couple of super appetizers to share as dinner. And it lasts every day till (8PM?).

SusanMargaret, glad you finally received some responses. Since you mention early dining, I think you might enjoy Cafe Figaro. Don't be put off by its shopping strip location (behind Walgreen's at the intersection of Wiggins Pass Rd.and 41 in N.Naples.) It's small and intimate, with a European bistro feel. Early dining is $13.99 for a semi-prix fixe meal. (Salad and sides are set, choose your entrée from several offerings.)

I agree with the rec for Iguana Mia, though their recent menu overhaul dropped my go-to dish of sour cream chicken enchiladas. If you are on the run, they do a good job with take-away. This, of course, puts you on the hook for making your margaritas at home !

Enjoy your stay in SW FL !
