Restuarants in Napa and Sonoma
We are traveling to Napa and Sonoma Aug 16. We have been to both before but this time are traveling with our 4 month old. Any suggestions on baby friendly places. We love Tra Vigne but would like to try something new. Also if there are any suggestions of wineries in Sonoma that are a must and/or off the beaten path

I don't know about baby restuarants, sorry. I live near Sonoma and like Gundlach-Bundschu (a small historic, still run by one of the founding German families winery
- great Zin!), Benzinger Family Winery near Glen Ellen (make sure to go early in the day and get tickets for their vineyard tour if you are at all interested in the growing end of wine), Imagery Winery along Highway 12 between Glen Ellen and Kenwood (newly opened by the Benzinger Family, their best wines - $5 fee), Kunde near Kenwood(has good wine caves tour and good wine - of course). All have good to great wine, IMO. If you are looking for something grand and since it is also on Highway 12 on your way, Ledson should satisfy. Buena Vista near Sonoma is historically worth seeing and lovely (they have apple juice for baby, but I suppose 4 months is pre-apple juice). Enjoy!

We went to Wine Spectator in Greystone (part of the Culinary Institute of America) and we had a wonderful time. It's pretty noisy so a 4 month old will fit in. Fun place to eat and watch them cook!

Greystone is nice. Forget the French Laundry with baby. Consider Mustards. The new Robert Mondavi winery is quite impressive.

Trish,

Try Bouchon in Yountville. It serves wonderful french food, yet has a casual bistro feel to it and is family friendly. Last time we were there, we saw plenty of families and a few small children in strollers as well.

Thanks for the suggestions
We agree with Greystone. We actually have been there before and we have already made reservations for lunch. That night we will have a light dinner. I think we will try Bouchon
Again thanks
