Restaurnat in Cambria? Need Quick Help!

Sorry-- this is a repeat, but I didn't remember to post it to the California board. We are on vacation in California; traveling down the coast, will be in Cambria tomorrow night & the next night-- need restaurant suggestions, please!!! I HAD some, but left them home!
PS-- I am writing this from the lobby of a Best Western in Watsonville!

Kathy, my favorite place in Cambria is The Sow's Ear Cafe. The salmon in parchment paper and the chicken fried steak are excellent. Very romantic, excellent service and wonderful food. Make a reservation. They have early bird dinners starting at 5:00pm.

Also, Robin's is very good, eclectic type place. I've also heard good things about the Black Cat and Bistro Sole.

If you want a casual meal with great views of the ocean, the Moonstone Bar & Grill is very good.

If you're a real seafood lover, The Sea Chest has fresh, fresh fish. No reservations or credit cards accepted here. They open at 5:30 for dinner, on the dot! Enjoy and let us know what you decide!!

Go to Linn's for some great bakery treats. The ollallieberry muffins are really good and the chicken pot pies are excellent! Enjoy Cambria! ***kim***

My vote is for Robin's. I ate there for lunch 2 years ago and my husband and I both still talk about it. It is absloutely fantastic - and I am hard to please.

If you make it to the Sow's Ear, the fried brie app is really good! We had my birthday dinner there this year. ***kim***

We went to both Robin's & The Sow's Ear. Both were exceptional -- food & service -- and very reasonable.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the Sow's Ear! I'm intrigued with this place. Once we're in there I never want to leave! Especially when the have a nice fire going in the cool weather.

I've been to Robin's for lunch, but not dinner. I'll have to try it when we go for two nights sometime. But I'm not giving up my Sow's Ear dinner! LOL ***kim***
