From the "Best of" awards in June 2005 issue of Cape Cod Life magazine.
The Lobster Pot - Won a Gold Award for Best Seafood Restaurant and Best Chowder as well as 2 Silver awards in other categories. Bubalas by the Bay won a Gold for best outdoor restaurant and a Siver for best Seafood Restaurant. Napi's won a Siver for Best Chowder. For Best Ethnic Restaurant, it was a Gold for Ciro & Sals mentioned by Stellaluna and a Silver for Lorraine's. The readers of Cape Cod Life vote the "Best of" awards annually so you can be pretty sure of their choices. |
I stayed quiet because I haven't been in a few years and restaurant quality (and management) can change quickly.
For the stereotypical lobster/ seafood dinner, you can't go wrong with the Lobster Pot. It will be the first reservation I make when I am back in town. I loved Bubalas for outside dining. The food never disappointed and the continual parade in the street is some of the best people watching ever! :-) A friend used to own a restaurant in town, but since she had more money than time she moved on to another venture. I don't know if the space has reopened. I used to enjoy hanging out at Stormy Harbor for inside people watching but have no idea what the status is now. And, breakfast at the Post Office can't be beat (or at least in the past). It's such a hoot to see the drag queens roll in the morning after sans hair and makeup. Unbelievable! |
Lobster Pot worked out great. Lots of fun and traditionally excellent.
Also had a drink and snack on the canopied deck of Pepe's earlier in the day. Fantastic. Thanks for the help. PS. I highly recommend the Dune Tour. Not even earth-like out there. |
