A friend of mine is attending a convention next week in Orlando, FL and would like to meet me for lunch. The half-way point on I-95 would be either Exit 156 Sebastian/Fellsmere or Vero.I will be driving north on I-95 from Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

I am familiar with Captain Hirams's Resort in Sebastian, but is it really a 30 minute drive from I-95? I am also familiar with Disney's Vero Beach Resort, which is another long drive off I-95.

She is from out of state and I would like to keep the directions simple. Can anyone recommend a good, atmospheric restaurant close to I-95 in either of these two locations?

We had a great meal at Cobalt at the Vero Beach Kimpton hotel. It is a bit of a drive off I95 but it is easy to get to and the food and views were great!

Thanks DebitNM, I will certainly check out your recommendation. Is it east of I95, out on the water?

Vero Beach is indeed east of i95, so anything IN Vero Beach will take a bit of a drive to get to. And yes, the restaurant ( in the Kimpton hotel) is on the water.
