Restaurants Near Thoroughly Modern Millie
 

We will be in NYC on Saturday and have tickets for Thoroughly Modern Millie..any recommendations on inexpensive to moderate restaurants in the area or within several blocks. Thanks for all the raves on this show...we do have excellent seats btw.

Inexpensive to moderate? I'd say Virgil's Real BarBQ. Or Ollie's Noodle Shop (all kinds of good and very inexpensive Chinese dishes). Both are within two short blocks of the theatre.
Something a little nicer? Angus McIndoe's down next to The Producer's. Nice menu, average entrees under $20.

John's Pizza on 44th St., I think, just down the block from "Producers".

I saw this show in June... very fun. My friends and I had dinner at some Scottish place near there. We just happened to wander across it and enjoyed it very much. Maybe someone else can help with directions or the specific name of this place.

Probably St. Andrews, which is a nice place -- it looks more like a regular pub in front, but has a nicer dining room in back. Good food, friendly service. I've only done lunch there a couple of times, but I'm sure dinner is good too.

It is on 44th. You'd go out of the Marquis (MILLIE) and cross Broadway and angle to the south to 44th. It is about a half block east of Broadway and Seventh on 44th, right hand side if going from Times Square.
