Restaurants near theh Burnham Hotel?
 

My hubby and I will be staying at the Burnham Hotel (that is across from Macy's) for the weekend of Dec. 22nd for 2 nights. I know the Atwood Cafe is supposed to be good for lunch and dinner, but I was wondering if there was another closeby option for breakfast? (Someone on Tripadvisor said their breakfast for 2 was over $60. Not sure that is a normal amount.) I am just curious if there are any other breakfast options.

Had breakfast at the Atwood this summer and it was not nearly as expensive as what was quoted. I enjoyed breakfast there, and it was so convenient when staying at the Burnham.

There's also an Intelligentsia Coffee on Randolph between Macy's and the Chicago Cultural Center and one in the Monadnock Building on W. Jackson.

By the way, if you were looking for an upscale brunch in a beautiful locale, take a look at North Pond. It's in Lincoln Park (the neighborhood) and in Lincoln Park (the park) - a 10-15 minute cab ride away, but just a lovely, romantic place.
