restaurants near Milwaukee Public Museum

Hello!
I am taking a group to the Milwaukee Public Museum. Are there any easy lunch places near there? We'll have an hour for lunch, so need a close walk, and not high price: actually something like Panera with decent soup, salad sandwiches.I just don't know Milwaukee very well.
Thanks for your help.

There's actually a nice cafe located inside the museum with beautiful views of the lake. I haven't eaten there in a while, but, I did have a good salad there a couple years ago. Here's a link:

The other place that comes to mind is Coast, because it is very close to the MAM, but, it might be more expensive and formal than what you are looking for: http://www.coastrestaurant.com/cuisine/index.htm

Milwaukee Public Museum, not Art Museum. Art Museum is gorgeous, with that wonderful lake location and view. Public Museum is not as as nice. I can't even find a listing for a cafe on the Public Museum's website. I know they've had budget cuts recently...
But thanks anyway.

Old World Dr is about 3 blocks east of the museum. I know Maders and 3rd St Pier are located down there and there MUST be several more. Another 3 blocks east and you are on the other side of the river on Water St. Loads of bars and restuarants there including Milwaukee Ale house and Brew City. It has been several years since I've eaten at any of them but they've all had good reputations for many years. Let me check the latest restaurant reviews and I'll get back to you.

OK, so I just reread your OP...Sorry you were looking for something different. Unfortunately you're smack dab in the middle of downtown and restaurants I know down there are not "Panera's". Ale house or Brew Pub are the most casual of those I mentioned if that's any help.

Why not just call the musuem...tell them the size/nature of your group (age, etc) and see what they recommend?
