Restaurants Near Lincoln Center
 

Four of us are going next week to the taping of The View (which is near Lincoln Center). Any restaurant recommendations near that area (66th & Broadway)? We would like moderately priced ($10-$20 an entree), someplace fun with a bar, and noisy is fine with us. I looked on the internet and found two interesting restaurants - O'Neals' and Nick & Toni's Cafe - has anyone been to either of these? Thank you so much!

There is Fiorello's on Broadway, near the Lincoln Plaza Cinema. It is not expensive. The restaurant is better in the summer when you can sit outside and people watch. Know for its salads and pizza.

I haven't been to O'Neil's in years, but it is fine. They used to have a good Cobb salad.

I prefer Picholine, but it is VERY expensive.

Haven't been to Nick & Toni's. And can't say I'd return to O'Neal's for the food. But I second the Fiorello suggestion and humbly submit a couple of my favorite spots nearby:

If you're willing to walk 5 blocks, Landmarc in the Time Warner Center is very affordable, with a fun bar scene: http://www.landmarc-restaurant.com/twc/

The food is brasserie fare with some fun stuff (sinful spaghetti carbonara, goat-cheese profiteroles) thrown in.

Also fun is Rosa Mexicano on Columbus/62nd) http://www.rosamexicano.info/. Delicious guacamole made at the table, and deadly margaritas.

This is for lunch right? The View ends at noon? I'd try Telepan, West Branch, Nice Matin, Josie's Sushi Au Go Go, or Landmarc. The food at Nick and Toni's is exceedingly mediocre. O'Neals is reliable, but you're not there for the food. You might see if Shun Lee West still has their lunch special, or maybe Shun Lee Cafe, for dim sum. Or the other good suggestions here would work too.
