Restaurants near Lincoln Center
 

I would appreciate suggestions for restaurants in the Lincoln Center area...as far uptown as 72nd Street. Any type of cuisine is fine and I'm looking for a place with entres under $25.

There is an Italian restaurant almost directly across the street from LincolnCenter - I can't think of the name but it is something like Ghilardi's. If you go to zagat.com there will be many choices.

Cafe Des Artistes, 1 West 67th. You don't mention whether it's for lunch or dinner. For lunch, they have a prix fix menu with a limited 3-course selection for around $25.

Joanne,<BR><BR>My favorite restaurant in the city is close to Lincoln Center, it's on Columbus and 70th called Pomodoro and its GREAT Italian food. The bread served is wonderful and made there every few minutes.<BR><BR>The seafood and pasta are both fresh and the wine list is also very good.<BR><BR>That's where we go before seeing something at Lincoln Center, so they know how to get you out in time to make the show.<BR><BR>Have a wonderful time.<BR><BR>tweedy

Thre are 2 restaurants on 70 st - Cafe Luxembourg and Compass that offer good food in your price range. <BR>For a REALLY nice lunch, Picholine, one of the best restaurants on the UWS, offers a 3-course prixe fixe for $30 that's a true bargain.
