restaurants near BAM (Brooklyn)
 

Hi!

My husband and I are visiting NY next week (yay!!!) and have tickets to see a play at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on Wednesday.

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a place to eat before the show near BAM. There are a TON of restaurants listed on their website but since I don't know Brooklyn the list is pretty overwhelming.

We would like to have a nice dinner but nothing very pricey. Also, nothing too spicy or rich since it will be before a play. :-) I'd love to know if any of you have a favorite pre-performance spot near BAM.

I got here whenever I got BAM - it's romantic and the food is good.

The BAMCafe is also great. It's a great room and the food is not disappointing. I just find Stonehome more charming.

How about Scopello Ristorante Bar for Italian--it's nearby.
