Restaurants in Riverside

Let me know if you have any faves there. I'll be near there on the weekend. California casual would be good but I'll take all suggestions. Including breakfast. Thanks!
:-)

I assume you mean Riverside, CA and not FL?
The Mission Inn is probably the best place in Riverside. I prefer the Las Campanas on the outside patio (Mexican food obviously). They also have a very good Sunday brunch though it's a bit expensive at ~$30.
If you are willing to drive a bit, the best new restaurant in the area is ZipFusion in Corona. It is Japanese/California fusion. The website is

Thanks I did mean CA, and realized I should of put it on as soon as I hit post. Las Campanas sounds like something we'd like. Thanks again RBCal. :-)

Sorry I'm late - didn't see this until tonight. Hope you found some good eats. If not, Mario's is great for dinner also although dressier - it is across the street from the Mission Inn. Simple Simon's is a sandwich & bakery and The Tamale Factory is Mexican - both are on the walking mall by the MI and yummy. Out by the Tyler Galleria is Ancho's, which everyone loves for the warm torillas made fresh on premise. (The tacos el carbon are delish!) The Bossa Nova Grill is Cuban food and was great the only time I was there - mojitos are thumbs up. Citrus City Grill uses fresh ingredients and pulls in the citrus background of Riverside (home of the parent navel tree that lauched the navel orange industry.)

Did you find anything to your liking during your visit?

Sevilla by the train station has fabulous Spanish food. They have a flamenco show if you want to see that.

We didn't end up eating out in Riverside on our trip (we were visiting relatives in Hemet). But I've jotted down these suggestions for future trips. Thanks! Karen
