Restaurants in Philadelphia

I'll be in Philadelphia next 10-12th SEP with my wife and baby (1 1/2 year). We'll be staying at the Westin Hotel downtown. Can you suggest me restaurants in that area that you may consider friendly for babies?

Thanks very much,

Portela

Your best bet might be to post this same question on chowhound's (chowhound.com) mid-atlantic board...it is a very helpful site.

Marathon on Spruce Street...it's so noisy there, nobody would notice a baby even if she were screaming her head off.
Lots of places in Chinatown are very family oriented.

Jones restaurant is very good, a more lively atmosphere with a good mix of people. I think I've seen some babies there a few times... Here's the website: http://www.jones-restaurant.com/

It's a Stephen Starr restaurant - he's a well-known Philly restaurateur with some cool concept restaurants. Jones is decorated 70's family room style, and that's certainly not the reason (in my opinion) to go there. The reason to go there is their amazing macaroni and cheese, equally amazing nachos, and other fun menu items.
