Four of us ate at Le St. Germaine and had a truly fabulous meal. 3 had seafood the other pork chops. By seafood I mean fish and not crustaceans. Our waiter was great and dished about local celebraties. When we left he gave us all a big hug and looked like he was gonna cry. Said he never had so much fun. It was a memorable meal.

Hi - It's a chain but I loved P.F Chang's in Palm Dessert. Upscale Chinese that's awesome.

If I remember correctly it's near "The River" shopping complex

Roy's in PD - fabulous seafood.
Ruth Chris Steakhouse - a chain, but I eat there whatever city I'm in for great steak.
Cafe des Beaux Arts (I think it's on El Paseo) - reasonably priced and excellent French food.
