Restaurants in Kaanapali, Maui on Christmas Day
 

Our family of five will be in Maui over Christmas,(yahoo!) and I would like to know if very many restaurants will be open for dinner on Christmas Day. We are staying in a cottage near Kaanapali so we will be able to cook if we need to, but I would like to go out somewhere special but not exhorbitantly priced, in Kaanapali or Lahaina. Any thoughts and/or recommendations would be appreciated. <BR>

You already posted this question. Can't you just top your other one if you're looking for more answers? Look, I'll top it for you if you can't do it. By adding more threads you take up space that could otherwise be used by a "new" question.

There are a zillion hotels on Maui,all of them will have some of their restuarants open on Christmas Day. While it may be a holiday it is also prime tourist season in Hawaii and tourists gotta eat! You should have no trouble finding a place to eat.

Linda is right-on. I've been in Hawaii many times during the holidays and never lacked for good restaurants to enjoy; not even on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. <BR><BR>HOWEVER, please consider leaving a larger tip than normal to say 'Thanks' to those nice people who are working to serve you on the holiday.
