Restaurants in Downtown Cleveland
I am headed to Cleveland, Ohio next weekend on business, and am wondering if anyone has any good restaurants to rec. downtown or near downtown?
Thanks so much! Cindy |
Not exactly downtown, but close (West Side), we enjoy Parker's, Fahrenheit, Theory, Johnny's on Fulton.
I've heard wonderful things about Sans Souci, downtown in the Renaissance Hotel, but still have to try it. Blue Point Grille (downtown) is great for seafood; and nice steakhouses are Morton's, Hyde Park, John Q's. On the east side of town is Cleveland's Little Italy, and you really can't go wrong anywhere in that neighborhood if you're looking for Italian. Any particular type of restaurant you're looking for? |
Cleveland Chop House on 9th and St Clair just off the NW corner of Public Square.

Are you looking for fancy schmancy places or cheap places??

Cleveland Chop House. One of our favorites to have happened upon in our travels. My husband still talks about that dinner!

Thanks for the tips. I love the variety of the replies. And, to answer one of thw questions, I am looking for both simple and fancy.
Thanks so much |
For wonderful food and entertainment go to Fat Fish Blue. Very laid back and loud if the band is playing, but the food is oh soooooo good. If you like Crawfish, the crawdaddy pie is excellent!!!Check out: http://www.fatfishblue.com/cleve/index.htm

Downtown: Johnny's, Blue Point Grille, Vivo.
Near downtown: Parkers (my favorite Cleveland restaurant), Great Lakes Brewery (mostly for their beer), Fat Cats, Parallax, La Tortilla Feliz (casual central american food) |
Was in Cleveland a couple weeks ago and had good meals at Metropolitan Cafe and Cleveland Chop House, both in Warehouse District.
