Restaurants in Chicago

Looking for restaurants around the Grant Park (museum) area for a weeday night that might grab the interest of a teenager-any ideas?

Walk over to the Printer's Row neighborhood (along Dearborn Street south of Congress Street) and take your pick. Among the offerings within a couple of blocks are a good Thai place, Mexican food(in Dearborn Station) an Edwardo's pizza and an upscale hotel restaurant, Prairie, that specializes in American regional cuisine (so nothing is too unfamiliar). <BR>Another idea would be a heaping-plate Italian place - the old Taylor Street neighborhood is great for this, but Harry Caray's or Maggiano's (both just north of the river and about 3 blocks west of Michigan) would be acceptable substitutes.

I live in Printer's Row and there are not alot of restaurants around here. Try Bubba Gump near Navy Pier or Gino's East pizza on Wells or even Berghoff's on Adams near Dearborn.

The Printer's Row area does have a few more restaurants - Bar Louie, SRO (burgers), Printer's Row (the name of a restaurant), Blackie's and there's always the new Hackney's. There's also an Italian restaurant but I don't know the name. If you head North a few blocks there are tons of restaurants to choose from in the Loop.

Thanks for the suggestions-we ended up eating at the Chicago Hilton pavilion restaurant because that was where we were staying and the weather was lousy. Surprisingly, the foood was very good-they had a special of the day for $13-salmon and it was great! The next night we walked to Miller's pub on Wabash and the food was also very good, not expensive, nice atmosphere, and the service was very quick-including the two hot towels given my son as he was head to toe in barbeque sauce!!
