restaurants in Camden & Bar Harbor?

Hello -
Can anyone recommend a good restaurant in Camden for lunch, and a good restaurant in Bar Harbor for dinner?

I was last in Bar Harbor in October, and we stayed at the Bar Harbor Inn. We ate dinner there, I think the name of the restaurant is the reading room. Great views of the ocean, and great food. A bit on the expensive side, but hey - you are on vacation. I would highly recommend.

We had lunch (and dinner--it was so good!) at a little place in Camden called, I think, the Frogwater Cafe. Now this was in 1998; I hope it's still there and still good.

Yes, Frogwater Cafe is still there
and still the BEST! Great baked
garlic. Romantic atmosphere. I highly
recommend the Camden area. Maybe stay
at the Belmont Inn. Soooo beautiful
and the dinners are out of this world.
You can take a ferry ride over to Islesboro, I think that is the name of the Island. Bring your bikes and a picnic.

If the weather is good, you can also take a Schooner boat ride (spelling?). A night Schooner is the best.

Good luck.

Based on a recommendation in this forum, we ate at Galyn's in Bar Harbor on a vacation last August (1999). It was very good - casual, pleasant atmosphere, wonderful menu and a nice selection of wines. I also recommend the Asian restaurant in a house just off the main street.
