restaurants CT to Providence

I am traveling from CT on I95 to meet a friend traveling from Boston. Are there any restaurants, not fast food, in the area between the CT border and Warwick not more than 10 miles from I95? I have had no luck searching on the internet.
Thanks

Did you mean to post this message on the US board?

Uuhhhh, Underhill, this is the US board.

There's a Legal Sea Foods in Warwick. Not familiar with anything else in that area. Are you willing to go to Providence? There's some great restaurants there.

Assuming that you mean dinner, a good spot would be East Greenwich, RI. Several good spots on the water or nearby....Post Office Cafe, Table 21, 21 Water Street for starters. Also, Harborside Lobstermania overlooking Greenwich Bay

If I had to guess, I'd say that Underhill read CT as Cinque Terre (in Italy) and didn't read any further.

The Up River Cafe, in Westerly Rhode Island is very good. My wife and I ate there on our honeymoon. It is literally on the RI-CT border. (The "river" in the restaurant's name refers to the river the separates CT and RI). We were there in the winter, and it was nice, but it looked like sitting outside by the river in summer would be very pleasant.

Plus, the food was wonderful, and the service was amazing (they gave us a free dessert for being on our honeymoon).

If you google "up river cafe" you should be able to find some reviews.

Peggy,
There's several good restaurants right off of route 95N in the Warwick area.
There's a Cracker Barrel and an Applebee's off Exit 7,.. An Outback Steakhouse and Ruby Tuesdays off Exit 8a. There's also a good restaurant off 8a called Paragon (vivaparagon.com).
Take Exit 10 to a restaurant called the Remington House Inn (diningquest.com)
And finally, follow Exit 13 to the Post Road exit to Legal Seafood and Chelos restaurant(chelos.com). I hope this helps. kenm

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll go on the internet and try to check some out. Without the names before I wasn't having much success. Even without any more info, I feel confident going with recommendations from a Fodor's board. I've never been disappointed.I've traveled that route before and was not aware of any of these.
Thanks
Peggy
