Restaurants before KC, MO
 

Looking for a casual restaurant alone I-35 before we reach KC.
Anyone have a suggestion for one of the small towns between Des Moines and KC? Would prefer somewhere in MO.

Not before the metro area, but before getting to the downtown KC - Stroud's

Thanks Keith. Were hoping to make a stop maybe Cameron, Kearney,or Liberty. Wanted to avoid rush hour traffic through KC, so thought we would stop for an early dinner and drive after all the hard working KC people were home relaxing!! Will check out Stroud's site and see exactly where it is at. Thanks again for your help.

Before you reach KC metro, you'll be left with truckstop fare generally. As soon as you start getting into KC, you'll come up Liberty, MO. If you take the 152 exit, there are numerous restaurants in the shoppiing areas. A nice, casual, country-style restaurant is the Corner Cafe on the south side 152.

Thanks apersuader65, for the suggestion. Cornor Cafe on exit 152 Liberty, sounds like something that would fit what we are looking for. Appreciate your help.
