We will in Fargo, ND the end of this month - does anyone have any restaurant recommendations? We're open to any sort of cuisine. Thanks!

I used to live in Fargo and still miss some of my favorite eating places. If you like Indian food-I would suggest Passage to India. When I lived there I would go for thier great Indian buffet every Saturday I was in town. The have the buffet everyday, but for dinner you can order off of menu. Saffron for Indian food is also good. If you are looking for a more upscale dining experience I would suggest Monte's which is downtown or even the HoDo which is also downtown. If you are looking for a casual lunch place I would suggest Barbara's First and Deli. They have great salads, soups, and sandwiches and great desserts. Juano's is a good Mexican establishment and I enjoyed Santa Lucia for Mediterraen and Greek food I also love the dessert shop called Nichole's Fine Pastry-which is also downtown. I never went wrong with those desserts. Enjoy the food-I still miss some of these places to eat

Hope it's warmer then than it is today at -37 degrees F. (yes, that's a negative sign and that's without he windchill factor!).

Bundle up!

hamster1 - Thanks for the recommendations. Unfortunately, I'm well-acquainted with sub-zero temps. As they say in ND "if you have a pair of shorts & a snow shovel in your vehicle, you're ready for any ND weather!" But people everywhere like to eat at good restaurants, so I'm looking forward to trying your choices!
