Restaurant rec in Key West

Looking for a great restaurant for a couple vacationing in Key West. Would like good food and a nice evening view. Thanks.

The prettiest restaurant - with the best view - is Louie's Backyard. It's VERY expensive but we've had wonderful food there.

A&B Lobster has nice views of the marina if you get a table on the balcony.

The Hot Tin Roof at the Ocean Key Resort is a beautiful restaurant with a great view of the water, but our food there has been very disappointing.

We haven't tried the restaurant at the Pier House since it was last refurbished, but it used to be wonderful and it has a great water view, too.

If you'll settle for a more intimate setting, try Michael's. It has fabulous food and the tables outside can be charming.

thank you so much. I'll check that other website and into Louie's and A&B.

We were in Key West a couple weeks ago. We had our anniversary dinner at a place called Pisces. It does not have a view -- but it was truely wonderful!! The food was incredible and there are original Andy Warhol's on the walls.

I second Susan's message - Louie's Backyard is great and meets your requirements. If you have time for another dinner, Seven Fish also has wonderful food, but no view. If you go, make reservations, it's very intimate. Yum.
