restaurant help at inner harbor
my husband and i are going to spend the weekend at baltimore's inner harbor and i can't decide if i should make reservations at windows-at the renaissance harborplace,hampton's-at the harborcourt hotel,or at the prime rib.they all look great.also, any suggestions for a great seafood place would be greatly appreciated.thanks.

I can tell you to skip Windows at the Renaissance for sure!! Have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the last 6 months for business. While the hotel is nice Windows is highly overrated with very slow service. Go across the street to JPauls!!

Emily is right - JPauls is great. just a little advice from my experience the BEST restaurants are not normally in hotels.

Just had dinner at a place called Moe's in Baltimore, a $5 cab ride will take you there from your hotel and you can walk back. The seafood was really fresh and the pasta looked fantastic.

We have had Sunday brunch at Hampton's twice for special occasions and it was fabulous. We haven't had dinner there, but if it equals the brunch it will be wonderful--food, atmosphere and service.

If you want great food as well as atmosphere try Lista's in Fells Point then walk around and enjoy the oldest neighborhood in Baltimore. Take the water taxi..spectacular ride!

For a break from the touristy Inner Harbor, go to Tio Pepe's in the "downtown" area -- a short cab ride from Harborplace. You will find amazing Spanish food, particularly the paella for 2, and great sangria. You'll love it.
