restaurant dress code

We have reservations at 5:30 at the Little Owl on Sunday. Can you tell me please what the dress code is? We will be doing touristy things that day and will be in jeans and uggs. Don't want to wear the wrong thing.

Thanks for your help

You are probably be o.k. if you aren't wearing shorts and a tank top. However, if you are concerned about being thought a bumpkin, a man is almost always safe when he wears slacks and a button-up shirt and a woman when she wears a pant suit, a dress, or coordinated separates.

It would be helpful if you reposted w/the restaurant name & location in the title (or as much of it as you can). Typically I just contact the restaurant, if that type of information is not disclosed on their website.

The Little Owl is a casual restaurant. At that time of the day, jeans will be fine. I generally don't wear jeans when I go out to a restaurant, and I wear real shoes, not Uggs, but you won't be that out of place.

Casual is fine. Sloppy is not. Jeans should fit and not be full of holes. I can't imagine walking around all day in Uggs, but they're your feet. And a decent top (not misshapen tee shirt with funny saying on the front) would be better. But then, all that is true of any place except perhaps MickeyD's or your own backyard.

(Unless you go to a more upscale place - like 21 - where there is a specific dress code.)
