I have no idea when it ends, but the code is SANTA.
During the last sale I got a certif for a place called Hutchin's BBQ in McKinney Tx and it was so dang good I decided to buy enough for everyone for Christmas lunch.
I'm buying a few pounds of ribs and a few pounds of brisket... which was among the best i have ever had!

I just ordered 10 more certifs for unknown restaurants that are in interesting locations... we will use them for our little weekend jaunts :)

I've been using restaurant.com for a couple of years and have posted promotion codes here too. It's a pretty good deal.

Typically, restaurant.com sells a $10 off certif. for $3, or a $25 off your purchase certificate for $10. Using TxTravelPro's promo code, it will cost you $2 to save $25. (other denominations also used by some particpating eateries)

Restrictions are usually at least 2 guests (sometimes 4), use once per month, and often a minimum check amount before booze & tax.

I used a coupon I bought 2 weeks ago - different code but 80% off.

$25 cert cost me $2. $50min purchase, min 2 guests.

Since I was on a business trip and planning to eat out anyway it was a great deal. Upgraded my restaurant to a nicer place and I didn't exceed my per diem in the process.

I've checked out San Francisco area restaurants (SF, the peninsula, and San Jose) on restaurant.com and cannot find a single one that I'd like eat in at any price. If you know the restaurants in this area and have used restaurant.com, please post the ones you like here. I'd love to take advantage of their coupon code.

Actually, I was checking to see if I could get more certifs for that BBQ place. I googled restaurant.com discount code and found the usual coupon sites and when I yahoo'd it an actual link to the 'hidden' sale page on restaurant.com came up.

I just can't figure out why I never get email notifications from restaurant.com.
I have bought dozens of these certifs... you would think they would let me know... or maybe they target shoppers they are trying to hook.

Betsy, I have found that there are some markets that just don't have very good participation... and we are always willing to spend 12.00 on the unknown. Only once did we want to turn and run when we got to the restaurant... but we ate there anyway and the food was good but there's no way in heck we will ever go back, it was a real dive.

Oh, and luckily most of the certifs I get are unrestricted except for a 35.00 minimum spend on a 25.00 certif.
That BBQ joint has the 35.00 minimum but I can get it all in meat by the pound and to go.
My daughters favorite mexican place has only the 35.00 minimum (25.00 certif) but they allow alcoholon the certif, which is unusual.
Almost all the remaining certifs I bought are valid anytime with a 35.00 minimum and no other restrictions.
Dallas seems to have some pretty good participants. Other markets seem to be very heavily restricted... and certain types of restaurants seem to be more likely to add loads of restrictions.

Just read the restrictions which are clearly visible and buy what you can live with :)
