Restaurant and Bookstore Suggestions For Georgetown
 
As part of an upcoming trip to D.C., hubby and I would like to have lunch and dinner in Georgetown, as well as browse in bookstores. Any suggestions for your favorite Italian, Mexican, or Chinese restaurants? Are there bookstores that specialize in hard to find, old, or first edition books? Or just something besides Barnes and Noble, etc. Thanks!

You can go to the University book store for some interesting books. And, the 1789 Restaurant is tops.

Filomenia on Wisconsin ave below M street if a wonderful place for dinner - the pasta is made in the window by 2 women who could be the owner's grandmothers! Ask for a table near the kitchen and watch the cheese making! As for books, head towards Dupont Circle - And just wander ! (if you make it to Baltimore there is a wonderful book store "42nd street books!)
