Resorts on NY state

Could someone please recommend any nice resorts in NY state for a couple with a 2yo toddler. We are planning to go for either Memorial or Independence Day weekend for 2-3 days. Preferrably within 4-5 hour drive from Philadelphia.
Thank you.

Nataly - How far north do you want to go. I have plenty of Upstate New York Info.

Downstate would be the 4-5 hour drive from Philly. I am only familar with Saratoga, NY.

4-5 hour drive from Philly puts me to Catskill Mountains and/or Minnewaska State Park (not sure about spelling).

Thank you.

Mohonk Mountain House near New Paltz (www.mohonk.com) is pretty neat. They have lots of different programs, though not tons for a kid that young. Great setting/building, OK food, strange on booze, but worth a look.

For most of the families I know, Mohonk is the resort that's mentioned. There's a dude ranch near New Paltz but that's for older kids. There's also the Sagamore on Lake George, but I think that's also best with older kids.

If you want to drive a little further, the Tyler Place in Vermont, just below the Canadian border and along Lake Champlain, caters to the whole family.
