Resorts on North Shore
Does anyone have any information on resorts in the North Shore? The Princeville Resort is full, but I'm trying to find a nice resort in the North Shore area. Would like to find a place with a nice view, and several on site luxuries such as fitness center, nice pool and beach, etc.

Thanks!

There is NO other resort anywhere like the Princeville, REGARDLESS of what anyone else tells you.
There is The Hanalei Bay Resort, which is a 2.5* timeshare complex with some hotel rooms. The pool is ok, but there is no health club, & only one restaurant & one lounge, & the whole place shuts down at 11pm. There are tennis courts, and the grounds are nice, but the hotel rooms are in awful condition, motel-like and not renovated. The larger timeshare units have been renovated, but you are still stuck in a property that rests soley on the view atop of the mountain, overlooking Hanlei Bay.

The other hotel is the Hanlei Colony , but again, NOTHING like the Princeville.
To keep it a restful place, there are no phones or TV's ion the rooms. No healthclub either.

I meant to say on the North Shore of Kauai, The Princeville Resort has no peer.

Have you considered staying on the south shore?? The Hyatt on the S. Shore was or first pick...but they were full, so we decided to stay at the Princeville. I hear that both hotels are amazing. just a thought...

good luck!

Thanks to all!

We probably will end up on the South Shore after all.

Glad you are thinking about the South Shore. If you want a similar hotel stay to the Princeville Resort, then
you MUST stay at the Hyatt.
The spa at the Hyatt is Kauai's best.
