resort home for 14?

Can anyone point us to a resort that has "home away from home" style accomodations for 14? I guess we need a 7 bedroom beach house at a resort, if they exist. We can go anywhere! Thanks.

I have taken that many to Sunriver Oregon. It is a resort community in Central Oregon. Has wonderful golf courses, 30+ miles of bike trails, pools, small shopping mall, grocery stores. It isn't a beach resort but you said you could go anywhere. Might look into it for another time - highly recommended.

Mattie
Check out the Outer Banks, barrier islands off of North Carolina, any realtor can give you info on beach homes for rent. Just be sure and rent one on the beach. Many accomadate 14. Or, try Long Beach, NC. A search engine will give you loads of information.

If you'd settle for renting an oceanfront home in the Florida panhandle, Abbott Realty has several with 7 bedrooms. I've never used them but have seen their name often in connection with beach rentals. Just do a google search for Abbott Realty in Destin, Florida.

We've rented from this place twice on the Outer Banks in North Carolina.

http://www.beachrealtync.com

I did a quick search and they showed 21 properties with 7,8, or 9 bedrooms.

have you done a google search for the beach areas? Key West has villas available at the Hilton. Maybe you should consider a B&B. Good luck.

I would think that it might be easier to find a nice hotel & book a suite. Some hotels have 2 & 3 bedroom units that might work for you.

Try Sanibel Island or Captiva. There are some great condos. You can get a couple side by side. Jamming 14 people into one might be difficult considering the bathrooms and kitchen. There are rental agents on the islands that can help you. I have worked there and live nearby.

The Outer Banks area of North Carolina would be a good choice. In the Duck/Corolla area there are many new and large homes to choose from that could accomodate a group your size. We rent through Twiddy Realtors and I think you can reach them at Twiddy.com. You're obviously too late for this summer, but if you're planning for next summer book early. If you can avoid summer and go in the spring or fall the rates for houses are lower.

Seaside, Florida, has somewhat pricey but beautiful large homes for rent, or side by sides if everyone doesn't want to be in the same house.

seasidefl.com
