Residence Inn Marriott Vs. Homewood Suites Hilton

Hola! Regarding quality of Suites, Pools/Fitness, and BREAKFAST, which of these chains would y'all consider to be better? Especially for a 2 week stretch.

I assume they are all pretty much the same; in any event our location will be Salt lake City, UT.

Thanks again.

Hello Gpaul. I have stayed in both Residence Inn and Homewood Suites in various cities across the U.S., although not in Salt Lake.

I have generally found that the Residence Inn suites are just large rooms with no separate area for the bedroom. Everything is one big room, bed, couch, kitchen, etc.

Whereas the Homewood Suites has always been an actual bedroom separated by a door, and then the living room/kitchen combination.

Breakfasts at both were quite adequate, certainly more coffee and pastries.

Hope this helps.

Happy travels!
