Reserving tickets for grand ole opry

I'm going on a road trip and plan a stop in nashville. This will be in mid June. Does anyone have any idea how essential it is to reserve grand ole opry tickets in advance?

If there are any really "big" stars appearing the weekend you go, you would definitely need to purchase your tickets in advance (you can order them at www.opry.com). I wouldn't take a chance.

As with all things, you must use the Mark of the Beast....aka Ticketmaster

Go to opry.com.......if you aren't content ordering online, just call the toll free number and reserve with an agent...I ordered tickets on the phone(not ticketmaster) last year, and the representative was very very nice. Plus, I think they may keep back better seating than what ticketmaster has.

I wouldn't worry about reserving tickets. We love the Opry and go everytime wer'e in Nashville. There's always 2 shows on Friday and Saturday at 6:30 and 9:30pm. You shouldn't have any problem getting them at their box office.
