Butchering English & Hawai'ian and offending everyone in their wakes...hilarity unfolding before us all...I just love this one!
Not simply an omitted apostrophe, but an additional "a" in the first offence. Nice teeth, girls! |
So anyway, SSM, last time we stayed at GWR, we rented a car. We used it a lot to explore, to go shopping, and dining. It also sat in the garage as much as my cars at home normally do.
I don't remember paying to park at GWR. Bring earplugs as the service carts rolling on the tiled hallways can be loud. Use the Search This Forum feature at the top of the page here to locate details on GWR and the Hyatt. ~Have a great trip! |
To answer Carla's question:
in Wailuku, MAUI! For Deloris.....no matter how often you come or how long your family has been visiting you are NOT kama'aina. Next time you visit, maybe you should consider taking a course in the Hawaiian language. Each post you write proves you to be kukaipa'a! |
TSD--not an apostrophe, it is an `okina, which is actually a character of the Hawaiian alphabet
|
Thanks for the correction. I have to admit that I was too lazy to review the correct term.

Mele Kalikimaka! |
ssm- we just got back from staying at the Grand Wailea and then Hyatt Regency. Liked the GW so much more, the rooms, bathrooms and overall ambiance. And the pools- well it was fantastic! We only ate at the GW hotel twice for dinner and buffet breakfast and we valet parked at both but were never charged for it.
