We are staying for three nights at the Wyndham resort near Downtown Disney. Does anybody know how much a taxi ride costs from the airport (MCO) to the Wyndham? I've tried various sites, but I can't get a clear answer. Does anybody have first-hand experience? Thanks!

I would guess it costs quite a bit. We rented a car because we were going to be driving south after a week at Disney and it took awhile to get to our hotel. They probably have shuttles though that aren't too expensive.

Use Mear's...should probably be around $10-15/person.

I live in Orlando and I know the Wyndham very well. I would estimate $45 for the taxi ride. Wyndham is very nice - great restaurants, nightclub, and spa. Have fun!!!

Mears makes stops and may not go directly to your hotel.

For only a few dollars more, you can have a private care pick you up.

Tiffany's met us at baggage pickup and and took us directly to our hotel. Had we requested. they would even have made a supermarket stop for us. They were professional, on time and even had a booster seat for our grandaughter.

The return trip was equally as easy.

Albert,
It's easy to find Mear's at the airport, just ask anyone who works there. Mear's usually uses mini-vans to transport people to/from the airport. It's much quicker than a bus but costs a fraction of a taxi (unless you have at least 4 people in your party).
Btw, Mear's is not limited to the airport/hotel trips; you can use them for other destinations (I vaguely remember using them to get to Seaworld from our hotel in Kissimmee).
