Renaissane Wailea Beach Resort
 

I am thinking about spending a week at this resort in the end of August -- any thoughts or recommendations?

Although we didn't stay there, on our visit to Maui a couple weeks ago, we checked out this location, and we loved it! The grounds are pretty, the hotel is very attractive and the area is my favorite on the island. This is where we will stay when we return.

I've been to Hawaii four times, and spent part of three of the trips at this resort. Of all the resorts on Hawaii, Oahu, Maui and Kauai, this is my favorite hotel/resort, especially for the money! You can't go wrong!

The Renaissance is a lovely resort. My wife and I honeymooned there. The tropical gardens are wonderful. The atmosphere is very laid back. Itis a great location in Wailea.

PS, they have their own luau, which was decent, we enjoyed it.
