Renaissance Hotel, Asheville
Any comments on Renaissance Hotel? Both on the hotel itself and the location.
Thanks a lot. |
I haven't been inside, but the location is great. Very short walk to all that downtown offers.

We stayed there in late February/early March. Nice, typical Renaissance. Outdoor parking only (we arrived in the middle of a horrible rainstorm and would have loved garage parking). Easily walkable to many restaurants and shops. Right next to the Wolfe home. There was some construction going on next door but it didn't bother us at all.
I'd be happy to try to answer any specific questions. Ruth |
Great location.
Interior is fine. Free parking. |
Another tip: they keep a notebook of restaurant menus at the front desk--may not be completely up-to-date but it helped us winnow down our options.

I was just there this weekend! As previously mentioned, it's in a great location, there's lots of parking (and it's free). They indicated that the hotel was recently renovated. The room we had was very nice, although it was a bit narrow. Could be because we needed two queen beds. But it was clean and the beds were wonderful!
We didn't eat in the restaurant because there are just too many in walking distance to choose from. Hotel staff was very pleasant, and we did take advantage of the menu binder they have at the front desk (which along with having some that are out of date, is in no order, so that could be something minor for them to work on). |
Have stayed there twice and it was very nice. Friendly staff, clean and nice room service menu.

We were also there this weekend. It is perfectly fine. I got a great deal on Priceline.
