You must have been here during our few days of real summer. It was "only" in the 90s but the humidity did make it feel worse.

I agree that housing is expensive! And I'd also rent for a year before purchasing.

Reno, NV. No state income taxes, NO humidity, temperate, gardens. Have a look. Moved here from NY 24 yrs ago for the same reason you left NJ.

Like sticking your head in an oven. I would rather have good skin and humidity that be a raisin. I think politically they are more conservative than Fl. I yearn for the northeast.
