regret you didnt pack.....
 

After your trip to Alaska, what items did you regret not packing, and what could you have better left behind?

I really regretted not packing eye covers to sleep in. You never see real darkness and it makes it hard to sleep. Wal Mart of K-Mart in Anchorage probably have them but I didn't realize I needed them until I was away from there.

I guess I regret not packing a good pair of waterproof gloves. I did a lot of fishing, and my hands got awfully wet and cold (this was in late August).

I could've used gloves (thin ones) on the Kenai Fjord Boat Tour. It was about 40 degrees out there near the glacier (in July).

I would have left my long sleeve shirts at home and brought more shorts and short sleeve shirts. (June)

I wish I had taken my binoculars and left my swimsuit at home. Too chilly even in July to swim in the ship's pool!
