Reelfoot Lake
 

We are interested in going to Reelfoot Lake next Jan or Feb. I'm having trouble finding recommendations on places to stay. We want to go see the Bald Eagles. Would like to be on the lake. Any suggestions?

A couple of places that come to mind are Boyette's and Reelfoot Lake Inn. Search for accommodations in Tiptonville, TN. You sure you want to do Reelfoot in Jan or Feb???????

We would be going specifically to see the Bald Eagles - evidently they over-winter there.

No, never stayed overnight. Just go to Reelfoot for some mighty fine catfish when we get home. If you don't want to stay in Tiptonville, you may want to just stay in Dyersburg and drive down.

My husband and I stayed at Boyette's over New Years and did see eagles. The Boyette's cabin was old and decorated very plainly but clean and cheap--very conveniently located across the street from the lake.

sooz - Did you by chance see the Airpark Inn (it's within the state ark)? I talked to them this week and am considering booking there.
