Redwood Park Restaurant in S.F.
 

I will be going to this place soon and I can not find any real good reviews anywhere? I know it is in the Transamerica building but not sure if you get a view from the restaurant? It is very expensive & I would like a little info before we walk in the door. Any help would be great.

It gets real mixed reviews locally. It's the old chef from the 5th Floor and previously also at Aqua, I think. It's kind of a "power meal" place. We haven't been, but my son who lives and works in SF was not terribly impressed. I think you could find better in SF.

I read in the paper recently that they have a reasonably priced prix fixe lunch. Might be a good way to try it without breaking the bank. Be sure to confirm with the restaurant first, it's probably been at least a month since I read this.
