Red Sox vs Yankees at Fenway park seating advice needed

My friend and I will be in Boston next month and we want to go to the Red Sox vs Yankees game. We are excited to visit Fenway park. Any suggestions where we should sit? We are two women and yankee fans. Should we worried? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There are such things as obstructed view seats -- check to make sure you don't buy one if possible. Also note that the Green Monster seats do not allow you to see much that happens in left field.

You will have to buy tickets on the secondary market as the games are essentially sold out. We have used Ace Tickets many times. (website same name).

Since Fenway is a small Park, most seats are good. Avoid Grandstand sections 2,3,4,5 as the seats have a strange angle to them and are facing left field rather than the infield.

There are often many Yankees fans at Fenway. Fenway used to be much more uncivilized than it is now.

Try to take MBTA to game. Parking is $45+ in a variety of garages and small lots, many near Boston University.

We use stubhub, when you click on the seat it will show you the view.

Great places to eat at the park and outside the park also. I love Fenway. Last time we went it was bobble head night.

Use convenient public transportation to get to the park.

The sections gail mentions are rear seats that swing around the rightfield corner. They are the worst seats. Given a choice, I'd take the centerfield bleachers over those sections.

Mostly anything down the 3rd-base/leftfield line would be OK. Obviously, the closer to the field, the better.

Unless you have a really good hookup for tix and lots of $, I wouldn't worry about the view from the Monster seats. You're unlikely to be sitting there.
