RED SOX Tickets
 

I want to get tickets for a Red Sox game but it appears sold out - Dodgers game.
Can you scalp tickets outside the stadium for a reasonable price?

Reasonable? No way. Fenway's a tough ticket, small park, rabid fans. You can occascionally scalp standing room seats "reasonable" but I wouldn't want to stand all game. Did that once.

The Red Sox do have a site to by unused tickets, but somebody else will have to find it for you...Tickets will be sold by scalpers,

For some reason, the Dodger games were incredibly popular. Sold out just after the Yankee games this season.

Outside the park, I understand the scalpers are getting anywhere from 50% over face, to double. If Pedro is pitching it usually costs even more.

The Sox always release a few tickets on the day of the game. They go on sale 2 hours before game time. However, folks seem to line up pretty early. I have no idea how early you need to get there to try to get these seats.

You might try the online ticket agencies. If you don't mind sitting in the bleachers, or in the right field grandstands (sections 1-8, where the seats pretty much suck), you can usually find something at a reasonable markup.

well, after writing this, I checked one of the ticket agencies, and they are selling $44 tickets for $70. I don't think that's all that reasonable.

Oh yeah, and a comment on the Sox own "Replay program" which allows you to buy tickets from season ticket holders. First, apparently demand has far exceeded supply, so they are not signing up any new members. Second, it cost $50 to join, and then they charge you %15-20/ticket convenience fee. So this is not scalping, how???
